Welcome to my Psychology class website

This picture reminds me of a maze of old knowledge. The dried wood creates crevices where the eye can get lost in its exploration. This is how I approach education, as an exploration of the theorists and theories you will learn about, like Freud, Jung, Maslow, Gilligan, Boss, Piaget, Erikson, Bronfenbrenner, Bowlby, etc. Here the mind can get lost as it weaves through the ideas of the men and women who sought to map the inner psychological workings of the human. The picture they create, and which you may add to through participation in the process of study and discussion, is no less intricate or interesting than the dried, cracking wood you see here. I look forward to our joint exploration and to the picture we will uncover together during this semester.
